Stay ahead of the game
Edwardian Hotels London needed an ad to target football teams booking accommodation ahead of their games.
Concept & Idea
As several of Edwardian’s hotels were located near football stadiums, the sales team wanted to attract bookings from visiting football teams needing accommodation before their games.
I came up with a headline that both conveyed the message literally, as in ‘somewhere to stay ahead of your game’, and in an idiomatic sense, i.e. being a step ahead. The ad was printed in a sports conference programme.
