A West End Love Story

As The Londoner’s Lead Copywriter, I was briefed to create a luxurious wedding brochure for the Event Sales team.

Concept & Idea

As the hotel is located in London’s West End and largely inspired by film and theatre, I played on the film title ‘West Side Story’ for the overarching concept of the brochure. The aim was to create a look and feel that was both magical and modern.

Connecting spaces with emotions

I thought of copy lines that could fill the void of empty spaces.

“In The Green Room, a private bar with dance floor and bespoke furnishings present the perfect place for more intimate weddings, cocktail receptions, and afterparties.”

 

Headlines that do the talking

The quickest way of saying “we’ll be there for everything, every step of the way”.

Subtle subject matter wordplay

I love puns and wordplay (when suitable!), and weddings invite a plethora of ways to play with language.
