In-Room Dining Meets Haute Couture
As the Lead Copywriter at Edwardian Hotels London, I was briefed to create an in-room dining experience inspired by fashion magazines.
The Sleepless Collection
To marry the in-room dining menu with fashion, I came up with creative ways to section the menu. For example, The Sleepless Collection was the headline for a reduced food offering served between 12am-6am.
Listing & highlighting menu items
Rather than just a normal list of dishes, I thought of new ways to present food that would be reminiscent of magazine design and phrasing.
Magazine “ads”
Just like magazines have ads, I thought of fun ways to present content that looked like ads. This example shows of what is essentially a list of mini bar items, but presented in an innovative way.
